Nice 1960 Cadillac DeVille Convertible with blue paint, blue leatherette interior, white vinyl soft-top, automatic transmission, power steering, electrical windows and top, spokes wheelcovers and white wall tyres.The visible parts of the chassis are in very nice condition, with no trace of previous accident, nor rust. The body is in very nice shape with an old paint that still looks nice. The chromes are also in good condition, even if some elements in Zamac would have to be redone.
The interior is in very good condition and is almost original except the front seat that has been redone. We have noted that the top of the dashboard has some cracks, and that some weatherstrips would have to be replaced. The soft top is new.
Regarding the mechanic, the 325 HP 390 ci V8 engine and the gearbox are working faultlessly. The brakes have been fully redone and some recent work has been carried out on the car :
Gearbox dismantled and sealing redone, brakes fully redone, new rear shock absorbers, starter redone, exhaust system alignement, and a major service done on the engine with the head gaskets and a complete overhaul of the electrical harness. The invoices of the mecanical work are available.
Regarding the body, only the boot floor and the back of the rear fenders that were lightly rusted have been replaced by new sheet metal elements, entirely matching the original ones.
This is a good opportunity to buy one of these mythical american convertibles of the sixties, for a fair price regarding the good condition of this car that is ready to roll.
